Commemorating of the 47th Anniversary of the Victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran in Abuja

The ceremony marking the 47th anniversary of the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran was held on Monday February 9 2026 in Abuja the capital of Nigeria.

The event was attended by a number of diplomats from various countries, local government officials, state governors, and religious and cultural figures, including Sheikh Zakzaky.

During the ceremony, H.E. Mr. Mahdavi Raja, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Abuja, delivered remarks outlining the achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran over the past 47 years and reaffirmed Iran’s determination to expand and deepen relations with Nigeria through bilateral cooperation.
