Meeting the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Abuja with representatives of the Nigerian private sector heading to Iran

On 31 December 2025 the Managing Director and a delegation from Mangari Development Company Nigeria Limited who are scheduled to visit the Islamic Republic of Iran at the invitation of the Iran–Africa Joint Chamber of Commerce held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Mahdavi Raja Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the Embassy.

The meeting, held ahead of the delegation’s visit, focused on coordination, planning, and the exchange of views on strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the private sectors of Nigeria and Iran.

During the discussions, the delegation expressed strong interest in developing joint partnerships with Iranian companies in key sectors, including agricultural products, pharmaceutical manufacturing and equipment, construction materials.

Both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing private-sector engagement as a means of expanding bilateral economic relations between Nigeria and Iran.
